In 2012-13 - 6 AIIMS Were Set Up - Taking the total
number of medical colleges in the country to 362.
During 2012-13, The intake capacity of seats in medical colleges has increased by 3,895 Seats at MBBS Level and 1,443 Seats at Post-Graduate Level. 16000 Nurses were added to various medical Institutions & Hospitals .
